Great beach with stunning views towards the IOW and Bournemouth - official naturist beach between Studland and the ferry. Cafe and shop near the National Trust car-park.

lovely sandy beaches and plenty going on - catch the ferry from Poole Quay as a foot passanger and take the coastal path and walk to Swanage if you want a graet place to visit

My girlfriend & I had a few hours stroll along the beach and the sand dunes behind. Very pleasant and very child friendly (apart from the nudist beach but this is well sign posted). Lots of refreshments & cafes at points along the beach along with kayak hires. Bring change as pay & display parking

The beach is wonderful only let down by the National Trust Cafe.In the past this cafe has made the beach even more attractive-needs urgent sorting out. Waited for half an hour for home made soup when only one other customer in the cafe at lunchtime. Plenty of staff available in the serving area but might as well not have been... More

All I can say about the Dorset coastline is WOW. Parked up at the Bankes Arms & followed the coastal path to Old Harry Rocks & returned to Pub along Studland Beach (but not the naturlist bit) Will be back again soon

We visited a few weeks ago to the newly refurbished cafe- had a really lovely time. The beach was gorgeous as always, and the new cafe is fantastic, really beautifully done! The staff were great with our children and the blonde manager on duty was really helpful and friendly- gave my husband some surfing and kayaking tips for the area... More

This is a beautiful, very long beach (a couple of miles I think), but I am afraid it is not one of my favourites, therefore don't go there. The sea is shallow for quite a way out, which I don't like. However, if you like watching ships up close it is great near the ferry area as that is where... More
