The ferry from Sandbanks is the best way to Brownsea Island as it only takes about 10 mins and runs every 1/2 hour if you go from Poole Quay it takes about 45 mins to get there. Fery very quck clean and staff helpfull.

Frequent timetable every 30 mins. Friendly staff and quick service although the £5.50 return pp seems slightly high for a few hundreds yards journey especially as you have to pay when you get onto the Island!

Yes what can you say, unless you got your own private launch, takes you across, brings you back, with a smidgen of info on the way back, as expected lovly views.

Loved the trip out of the natural harbour around the islands, the boat was spotless, staff on board so professional, full of knowledge about the area, have done this trip before and I will do it again when I go next time!

On a sunny day this has to be the best way to spend a few hours.

We enjoyed our little trip from Sandbanks to Brownsea Island. I just wished the journey had been longer on a beautiful Sunday morning!
