We visit Poole Quay and Harbour a couple of times a year. It's an interesting place with lots to look at - some of the boats are amazing, there are some nice shops to potter around and the old town is quite charming in it's own way. Poole seems to attract a lot of people on motorbikes who obviously use... More

A great place, lots things to see and do together with places to eat and go for a drink, stunning views. Some parts of the Quay area can be a bit dangerous in the evenings, particularly for young people, Just be aware. Otherwise a great place to visit.

Fantastic beaches and some great views. Park up at Shell Bay and pay for a foot crossing on the ferry for a unique view across the bay (£1.00 per person, and you only pay one way).

Poole harbour is the second largest natural harbour in the world and is rather beautiful. Take a ferry to one of the islands; worth a visit!

A good place to spend the day as there are plenty of shops and restaurants and if you like botas there are plenty to drool over and dream about.

A wonderful harbour for boating and sailing.Large expenses of safe shallow water.Great for bird watching in winter.Poole Quay a must to visit.Easy access to the water.Small boats can be launched at Baiter car park.Nothing bad you can say about this place.Good for fishing from the shore and crabbing from Fishermans Dock at the Quay.

Old and new buildings mixed well in the harbour. Plenty to do, eat, shop for and admire on a sunny day.

Not as upmarket as it used to be but some of the boats moored there would not shame a Mediterranean marina. Not bad if the sun is shining
