Was very run down in my opinion and needed some TLC, looked very dated from the outside and the fair was awful, nothing for a 10yr old to do. Food was awful, chips and more chips

We stayed in a silver room and took premium dining. The entertainment was fine however the whole place was dirty and smelled of urine. The room was unimpressive and the food was stodgy and disappointing. However, the nursery was excellent, the staff were lovely. Beach was also very nice. excellent value for money if the kids have a good time so do the parents, it is the fifth time we have been in six years we will be booking again

Butlins has really been brought up to date... dismiss the whole 'hi-de-hi' image because it's not like that at all.... I go several times a year because the entertainment and atmosphere is really great
