As a family we found Colchester castle very good and very interesting. The facts are very accurate and its good for children. A great place to go to see with younge children a must see in Colchester.great for familys and visitors.
Great museum chocked full of interesting facts and artefacts.

If you have a couple of hours to kill and enjoy local history, this is the place for you. Our only criticism was that we found the castle to be far too warm, the central heating appeared to be on full, making it a little uncomfortable.
This is excellent for children, they can try on hats, helmets etc + hands on activities to do ( which I might add we as adults did too!!)
Stunning location amazing artefacts guided tour a must
