went to castle for a war re enacment weekend what a very informantive time the equipment, guns and uniforms all genuine brought to mind what things were really like in the war.

This is great way to spend a few hours. The castle has a long and interesting history and the audio tour brings it alive. Pick a nice day though, as it's mainly outside and quite exposed to wind and rain!

What a great place to visit, this English Heritage site is facinating, especially if your walk around with the audio guide, which is really interesting to listen to. scarborough castle was brilliant the staff and castle was fantastic

A beautiful and very prominant old relic of Scarborough

weather was very sunny and hot - it was a long up hill walk but worth it beautiful views take a bottle of water with you - alot of information and history about the castle . we spent a good two hours there great trip for families with young children

A long tiring walk but very enjoyable. Make sure you take a drink if you are taking the steps. Scarborough castle is full of history and well worth the views.
