Ganton has played host to the Ryder Cup, The Walker Cup, British Amateur and other major tournaments. If ever the Open Championship were to move away from the sea, where by tradition it is always held, Ganton would be a strong favorite. The course is wide open with the holes changing in every direction making the wind an unforgiving adversary.... more

I was lucky enough to play this truly outstanding golf course in June this year and have to say it was the best i have ever experienced.The course is absolutely immaculate and every lie on the fairway is perfect,but you must be straight because the numerous bunkers will penalise any wayward shot severely.The weather was glorious 75 degrees,sunny and no... more
