We went in January and had wonderful weather, cold and sunny. Martin The Fossil Man was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and took us to a number of different locations. Unfortunately we are so used to words like amazing, truly professional, brilliant that when you meet a true, passionate expert who is a treasure to find, those words do not do him justice. We thoroughly enjoyed our fossil hunting weekend on the Isle of Wight. Martin was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable and kept us entertained with all his stories about fossil collecting and the geology of the area.
