Nice small museum with history of Dunoon etc., would have been nice if it was a bit bigger with more in it, but nice none the less! Nice views from the museum windows.

Very interesting. Quite a trip down memory lane as we both used to hoilday in Dunoon as children and remember the steamers and the bustling pier. Spent a good hour browsing here, Victorian Dunoon, illicit whisky distilling,Neolithic Cowal, wartime Cowal and much more.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Love the way it is set out. You feel like you are part of the scenes.

Very good value for money and what the couple, running the museum, cannot tell you is not worth knowing. They are full of information about Dunoon and surrounding areas. Spent a good few hours just wandering around and letting my mind drift back to happy times.

We had a great time looking at pictures of the school my children attended when we were there in the Holy Loch...lots of memories!...my daughter especially enjoyed seeing the pictures of all her friends at Dunoon Grammar...the museum host was so nice and the murals were very interesting concerning Dunoon's history...it was an enjoyable visit and I highly recommend this...
