I spent over 5 hours in this Bookstore and could have stayed a lot longer if I had enough money to cover the bill ! The place is absolute heaven for all kinds of book lovers and a haven from the somewhat unpredictable Derbyshire weather. Large, helpful staff and very good prices. The place has many facilities including small cafe and toilet facilities. It's a bit like the tardis and we lost about 3 hours in here.

The whole experience , however, was let down by the staff who appeared to prefer not to have to deal with something as inconvenient as the customer. A more unhelpful crew it would be hard to find.... Could have spent a lot more money here. Someone's thought about the stock and not just bought anything and everything.

The advert said that it was one of the biggest, brightest and best bargain bookshops in the UK, which made us expect more than what we met upon arrival. The location is perhaps not the best, as...
