This is a fascinating house and country park near Warrington as the former home of the Greenalls brewing family. Good playground and music from a brass band on the day we visited (27th May). It is very popular but is big enough for all. Nice gardens, lake and Coffee Shop. The House was open as well and is impressive as... More

Great place to take the kids on a sunny day, the only problem is 2000 other people usually have the same idea. Beautiful gardens, great walks and lots to do

The rip-off car parking is a prelude to the general disappointment that sums up the Gardens. Once the town's crown jewel - now it is a muddy run down site that the local council tried to sell off just a year ago

Perfect for kids to play outside ( weather permitting) big park . Small animal area and plenty of picnic space. All for the cost of a parking ticket , well the ticket machines were broken on our visit so that was a thumbs up from us! We loved the place and will defo be going back in the school holidays

What a lovely place for a free day out. Great park for children and a lovely setting. First time here, would go again with a picnic for a full day .

Very well kept park, lots of swings etc, the zoo is great for the little ones, parking is free if you have a blue badge otherwise it is £3:20 for the day. The hall itself is well maintained and you can have meals there, overall a very nice day out. Great for prams, Wheelchairs & old/young people.
