A little more expensive than the prices on the website, but was well worth it
Very interesting. Worth a visit and the audio head phones are very useful.
Interesting historical account. Entrance fee included an audio tour.
Very close to Ross and easily located..Unlike a lot of castles this one has not been "tarted up" with paintings and furniture but left in the raw and is more impressive for it.Very atmospheric.Good parking and facilities.
One of the best castle visits I have ever done. The audio tour was very informative and added to the enjoyment of our visit. It was pouring with rain at the time but we still enjoyed it!
Fantastic, well preserved castle with lots of nooks and crannies to explore-take a torch!
I doubt if you would ever find this castle by accident, as it is in a secluded valley about 5 miles south of Ross on Wye. Follow the A40 and it is signposted and you will eventually come to a very large parking area. You will then have to leave your car and walk along a wooded track for about...

Fabulous for kids as much of the castle remains with lots of original details. Great audio and visual guides.
Enjoyed greatly helped by audio tour - nice factilies and good car park although you have to pay & display and then get your money back at the ticket office - why not just make it free to park as you get a full refund.
