Not very big but in the centre of leafy Lytham,depends on what is being shown at the time of visit, things vary from year to year,but you can learn some useful facts about the local area.

The Heritage centre is located in the centre of Lytham. Run by volunteers it has a good programme of displays throughout the year although many of these are more likely to be of interest to locals rather than visitors. Worth a visit

This is a free entry heritage centre that has exhibits and displays of material connected with the area. At the time of our visit there were exhibits by artists, silversmiths and writers. There was also a local history display and models and books about local architecture including a windmill.
There is a thriving speakers/social programme.
