My mum and I went as an impromptu visit as the weather was so nice. As it was a Monday we weren't expecting the house to be open, but we just wanted to sit and have lunch and then wander round the grounds. Upon arrival at the gate we were told that the parking cost was £5 and the house... More

There are two entrances to the Park, one just off the town centre and another approximately two miles away via a "B" road out of Knutsford towards Ashley. The park is vast and is the home to deer, sheep, cattle etc. It hosts many events throughout the year. The Park has an area where you can park the car and... More

Tattoo Park really does have it all. A play area for the children, a farm for the family, beautiful gardens to explore with a maze to get lost in. There is a beautiful house to wander around and although I sometimes get a bit bored wandering around National Trust Properties I must say this one was very interesting. I think... More

Perfect weather helped our enjoyment of the day, grounds were wonderful especially the Italian/oriental gardens. Well worth a visit but would not be as enjoyable in wet/cold weather. wonderful collection in the mansion house. x

Took my mum for the day and had a lovely day exploring the grounds, photographing the deer and a lovely lunch as well! Highly recommended. There may not be enough for kids to do though if you have them. As for my Mum, she loved it!

The weather was overcast, but the visit was fantastic. Highlights for me were the wonderfull views across the Cheshire landscape, the Japanese Garden, the Palm House and pinery, and the mansion itself. I guesss the real interest in the family came with the museum and the knowledge of House Warden Alan - who was on hand to asnwer my barrage... More

apart from the added costs if you want access to all areas this is a good value day experience for all the family. The farm is particularly worth visiting as are the house and gardens. There is a good restaurant / cafe which gets very busy and shop. Walk the grounds too. Events held at Tatton Park are good but... More

Avoid days like bank holidays and sundays as it can get very busy. But the house and souroundings are very nice and interesting. Take some lunch to have a picknic on a nice day.
