The weather has not been knid to the course due to the cold and rain. It has left the course extremely wet at this time but you can see how good it would be to play it in the dry. Worth another game when dry.

This is a beautiful well established old course with some outstandingly gorgeous holes. When we played it the course was very wet and muddy in places however I have resolved to play it again some summertime as I enjoyed the layout immensely.

Stayed at the Green Hotel which was excellent , however the Montgomery and the Bruce course were very disappointing , the greens were in bad condition , and many a winter green would be in better condition , course overall needs some TLC

Loch Leven's Larder at Milnathort - well worth a visit if you're in that area. Lovely food, great gift shop and fresh produce to buy. Plenty to see in area but best left till Easter if a visit to Loch Leven Castle in on your agenda as ferries don't go to Island on the loch in winter months. Waterfall at... More

You always get a decent day's golf up at Kinross on both courses (I know them as Red and Blue, but they have names now). The clubhouse is nice too and you get a cracking meal after a good round in the area overlooking Loch Leven.

Lovely course to play with plenty of water feature holes. Felt the greens could have been better at this time of year and were surprise they had been spiked. Professional was helpful and the buggies come with an electronic hole by hole course map and distances to pin from different points on the hole. Not that impressed with the clubhoused... More

Snowed in at Gleneagles I ventured 16 miles away, where after the Glendavon range the snow had gone having been still a foot thick at Gleneagles. I arrived 40 minutes early no problem the groundsman let me away and I had the course to myself. There were winter greens on but in fairness given the weather they had, had no... More
