A brilliant place to visit with a young family who will delight in looking for the sculptures. It's a lovely place to while away an afternoon and beautifully kept.

The garden is open at weekend and Wednesday afternoons between April and September and for special events such as the Autumn Colour day in October and Snowdrop Sundays in February. I've been several times this year and have enjoyed seeing the changes as the seasons change. There's always a spot to sit quietly and plenty of space to roam around,...

If you are ever in the area, the Gibberd Garden is well worth a visit. It has over 80 sculptures, pots and architectural salvage in several acres of gardens. It was the home of Sir Fredrick Gibberd who was the master planner for Harlow New Town. He also designed Heathrow terminal 2 and many other buildings.
