Well laid out paths, but a taste of the real country, certainly not an urban park.

Beautiful woodland with tall pine trees and lots of birds and wildlife to be seen and heard.

Visited using the services of a local guide. Very informative and enjoyable morning walk.

Very convenient woodland to explore when staying in Grantown-on-Spey, a good chance of seeing a crested tit, and with a lot of luck you may also catch sight of a capercaillie. Be sure to buy a map of the woods from the BWWC at The Grant Arms Hotel, to save getting lost!

We arrived just before the April snow fall. Walking through the woods just after the snow came was magical.

Excellent for walking the dogs and getting a bit of exercise. Very well signposted.

A stunning woodland with a variety of waymarked trails and lots of wildlife to be seen. All abilities paths allow everyone to explore and there's a mountain bike trails area too. Brilliant for locals and visitors.
