MetroCentre is the largest shopping centre in the European Union. It opened in 1986 and is located in Gateshead on a former industrial site, close to the River Tyne. Unless you have been there its difficult to appreciate just how massive this place is especially if you have been used to places like the Trafford Centre. Parking can be difficult... more

Metroland is proper buzzin'.Its great for kids and adults of any age.From the little wheel with balloons,to the speeding rollercoaster.Its great for adults to.And all the rides are at a low cost price.Why dont you go.Give it a try!Im sure youll love it! more

The metro centre is practically my second home. I love it!!! Theres so much to do for all ages, and all under one roof.
