I visited this well kept park to take part in an outdoor dance festival. I was very impressed with the well kept gardens, the children's play area and the endless green spaces. Something for everyone

A great park to visit in my hometown. Lots to see and explore - whilst the food at the towers is okay, worth a cuppa in here to admire and rest from exploring. Take the time to walk right around and view the animals, lake and dene. Fab park

If you are stuck for something to do go to the park on bonfire night - but go early and be prepared for lots of people to have the same idea. Free and very good firework display.

I would defy anyone to find a more stunning English Victorian park like this anywhere. Take a picnic and hire a rowing boat too.
