Do take a look at the Kennedy memorial and visit the Magna Carta site. But, most of all, visit the Royal Air Force Memorial. If you are inclined to remember those who gave their tomorrow for our today, those from so many countries that laid down their lives for a better world, then sit quietly and reflect on their sacrifice.... Pay the NT for parking your car in a field, then you take a 5 min walk to what looks like a minor mausoleum. You need to use a lot of imagination not to feel you have wasted your time.

Nice place for a picnic in the summer - Boat moorings, kiddies park and tea rooms all available - Parking is quite pricey if you stay for a whole day

Great place for the Family and for fishing in the evening. Very underate fishing spot but only produces its best fish evening and early morning. I think you may not be allowed to night fish the NT area (although I must confess I have) but you can night fish the path area by the boatyard.
