We went here at the end of the day which was not great beacause it costs £21.00 for a family pass, quite steep I think for what you get! But it was good in that I don't think there was enough there to entertain our boys (6&3) all day!

Ride the steam train to all our activities including the unique Treetop Adventure - 5 houses up in the trees, fully accessible and safe - our covered picnic and play area at Foxy Hollow, an Indoor Village with secret passages, and a den-building area in the woods. See our collection of vintage trains (operating on two special days each year). Unlock a casket of treasure! Fun guaranteed. Picnics welcome - or enjoy our cafe serving sandwiches and light refreshments. Lots of special events, including days when Mr. Chuffity is here to show children how the Friendly Engines work and tell stories. Our 3 children love this place. If your children are between 4 and 10 it is worth paying the extra for the treasure hunt.

Fun day out for all the family. Unlimited train rides on a steam railway. You can get on & off at the different stations with different play areas. We've taken my lttle boy to see Santa now at Perrygrove for the last six years. This is a wonderful experience for both adults and kids and well worth the money. We visited Perrygrove expecting an expensive day out. What a pleasant surprise - for under £15 my partner and I and our 2 young children were able to experience unlimited rides on the small but immaculate steam railway. So glad you enjoyed your visit. Other people looking at this review might like to know that we do have some undercover activities at Perrygrove - the indoor village with secret passages, the covered picnic & play at Foxy Hollow - and all our trains are covered!

Took a party of children from Nursey school. Well appointed with both cafe and under cover picnis area in railway sheds. Excellent play equipment for all ages. Third visit and was pleased to find they'd added some new things. Is much more to see than you'd imagine and the treetops village was enjoyed by us all. I felt that staff could have been a little more friendly and welcoming, but besides that we had a good day out.

Away with friends for a few days in the Forest of Dean and drove past this place on our way to Synonds Yat. Decided to go there the next day (having looked it up on the internet first) and we all really enjoyed it. It is not a huge site, but there are some really nice aspects to it.

It is a small place but there is a lot to do . I would recommend that you try the driver for a fiver . The price to get in is good and the staff were very nice.
