We went here at the end of the day which was not great beacause it costs £21.00 for a family pass, quite steep I think for what you get! But it was good in that I don't think there was enough there to entertain our boys (6&3) all day! The railway itself has a main station and four other stops,... More

Our 3 children love this place. If your children are between 4 and 10 it is worth paying the extra for the treasure hunt.

Fun day out for all the family. Unlimited train rides on a steam railway. You can get on & off at the different stations with different play areas. It rained while we were there so we went inside to the cafe which was fairly priced. Also there was a little village which kept the four year old very happy. There... More

We've taken my lttle boy to see Santa now at Perrygrove for the last six years. This is a wonderful experience for both adults and kids and well worth the money. Remember to book early though as the tickets sell out quickly!! The visit starts with warm drinks (tea and mulled wine) and biscuits in the station house and the... More

We visited Perrygrove expecting an expensive day out. What a pleasant surprise - for under £15 my partner and I and our 2 young children were able to experience unlimited rides on the small but immaculate steam railway. We also had great fun on the treetop adventure and the teasure hunt through the woods. You really must visit if you... More

Took a party of children from Nursey school. Well appointed with both cafe and under cover picnis area in railway sheds. Excellent play equipment for all ages. The older ones loved the tree top adventure playground. You can take as many rides on the train as you like and it is a good run with opportunities to get off at... More

Third visit and was pleased to find they'd added some new things. Is much more to see than you'd imagine and the treetops village was enjoyed by us all. I felt that staff could have been a little more friendly and welcoming, but besides that we had a good day out.

I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and I'm sorry we didn't seem more welcoming. Some of our other reviews do praise the team for being friendly and we always aim to make visitors feel welcome. More

Away with friends for a few days in the Forest of Dean and drove past this place on our way to Synonds Yat. Decided to go there the next day (having looked it up on the internet first) and we all really enjoyed it. It is not a huge site, but there are some really nice aspects to it. -... More

It is a small place but there is a lot to do . I would recommend that you try the driver for a fiver . The price to get in is good and the staff were very nice.
