We went there one chilly afternoon last april, so there are very few people around. Walking around the area you will immediately feel the calmness of the sorrounding. Beside the church are the old graveyard you will know how old the tombstones are by checking the dates. Some are faded but there are other are still readable. There are some... More

Christchurch Priory is underrated. It has a stunning interior and Christchurch is a lovely town with plenty of history that makes it well worth a visit.

I'd never been to Christchurch before, but will go back. The Priory, particularly, was beautiful- and the staff couldn't have been any more friendly and helpful. I'm not particularly religious- though I tend to like churches (perhaps I'm just a little odd), but many of them are cold and austere and have staff to match. However I would go so... More

Not the religeous type, infact I actively avoid it, however the Priory is a must see on a visit to Christchurch, even if your just popping through the grounds from one lovely pub to the next, have a quick look.

Beautiful Church, we got married here 20 years ago and all my children were christened here, I hope my children have the pleasure and experience of getting maried here.
