An outstanding service from the very knowledgeable owner Sarah. Howard's paintings are extremely engaging and I particularly like his new direction into the brighter colours. Mary's paintings add a wonderful contrast, I love them both. Relaxed atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble, yet no pressure to buy. Plenty of time to browse. Great family friendly service.

When driving along the South Deeside road between Aboyne and Strachan, stop off at Butterworths Gallery in Ballogie. To view a lovely selection of prints and originals, calenders and jig-saws all by the Butterworth family showings well know scenes of the City and Shire.

A lovely gallery to see local artists original work. Welcoming owner who also has great knowledge of the area and it's art scene.

Popped in to buy some Christmas gifts and early birthday presents - got all I needed and Sarah couldn't have been more accommodating, even offering to wrap the presents and carry them out to the car. She even offered some free free range eggs
