Visiting North Devon for a week in August we looked through all the leaflets of places to go and as we only had our 2 and half year old with us we thought a nice little farm would be perfect - How wrong could we be!! We found the Farm to be dirty and unloved, generally in need of a... More

We visited North Devon Farm Park during the August bank holiday weekend 2011 and stayed for 2 nights. Before I start this review you need to know the following, I’m not really a camper but my kids love it so I tolerate it, I’m a business woman who finds it difficult not to look at things and not criticise as... We stayed at this camp site for 2 long nights, the experience was exaggerated by really dreadful weather. Despite this the camp site turned out to be a small field several minutes’ walk from the dirty toilets that were not cleaned during our stay and no toilet paper for one evening and morning. There was one ‘port-a-shower’ yes you read... More

I first visited the park when it re-opened last year. My 8 and 5 year old loved it so I brought the years membership ticket. The owners are really friendly and helpful and are very honest about the ethos of the park which is to provide a natural environment for you to enjoy and discover. They have plans for the... More

Whilst on holiday in Devon a special offer in a newspaper enticed us to pay a visit to the North Devon Farm Park. I had (incorrectly) assumed that the attraction would have a brown sign (along with many of the others) on the junction off the North Devon Link. It did not. Why? In fact there were no signs until... Really dissapointed with our visit here today. There seemed to be an overall lack of animals-two horses, two deer and some sheep, couple of ducks and some small goats and two pigs. There was a few highland cattle and four exmoor ponies and a llama.the nature walk was quite overgrown in areas especially around the water which was a bit awkward with small children(... We are local people and bought a years ticket on our first visit, this we probably would not do again. The family who own/run this farm are really friendly and informative about the farm, there are various walks to complete and a small indoor area for young children to play on/in, which is an old barn. They have various animals... More

I visited this farm with my husband and almost 2year old son whilst on holiday in Barnstaple. Our visit didn't start great as our sat-nav sent us exploring the country lanes in the middle of nowhere and when we did arrive the farm didn't look very lively from the car-park! However, it was definitely worth the effort and we spent... More

I've been to the North Devon Farm Park several times now as I live locally in Westward Ho. I've even bought a membership as its good value for money. I have a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old and its just perfect for them. The other gentleman that gave negative feedback for the place obviously wasn't very exploratory... More

We found it a lovely day out! Set in beautiful Devon countryside with a number of animals to see. The kids really loved it; it’s a traditional relaxed day out – a world away from the modern day theme park style attractions we are normally subjected to…
