You can find things in here that are just not anywhere else, very specialist little stands though not a lot of elbow room on weekends, still worth a visit.
When we need something odd we can always find it here, everything from phones to spices to zips and buttons. It is a very handy place.

Not much to do. Failed to impress my friends and myself. There is a variety of things available at the indoor market but not appealing to people of my age. It is possibly a good place for locals to get seafood, some fabric, tobacco, books, flapjacks, etc. The most interesting thing that happened was the singing man on first floor....

Found an excellent tobacconists here - old fashioned and you can get anything here, from chocolate baccy to Capstan Navy Cut cigarettes - excellent!

It is well worth coming here for a browse if you are in Durham, there is a fantastic selection of stuff at reasonable prices.
There were food stalls, a shoe shop( inexpensive but good quality shoes|) haberdashery, curtains, home furnishings ,but best of all a fantastic craft shop! Wow...I wish they could move to London!
