Travelled down from Paignton, first day the train was fairly full so they added an extra carriage. The train journey is a bit more business like than some preserved lines, but the views make up for that. Interesting trip to Dartmouth and beyond using a variety of travel. Steam train, ferry, boat and bus.

Great rail journey. Then Bus trip to Totnes(on a windy day make sure you sit on the bottom deck, blooming cold on top deck even on dry day) then lovely boat trip with funny commentary

I travelled on the Paignton to Kingswear Steam Railway, and although I dont really remember steam trains, it was an enjoyable way to travel. It was just like the old days - steam trains and ferries. And the smells that remind me of my childhood!

A wonderful day out, especially when the weather is fine. Nostalgic steam rail trip, a ferry ride, followed by the River Dart trip. The Dart river trip was amazing, and made especially so by Steve's commentary. Definitely recommended.
