Difficult to find , has very steep paths and the signage was very poor. Persevere and there are some great views of Belfast Lough but easy to stray on to golf course or come to a dead end.
This former home of the owners of the biggest whisky distillery in the world in its time, the Dunvilles. The father was an airballooner, and the son was a zoologist who had his own private zoo here. Redburn presents a challenge for keen walkers and rewards with great views across Belfast Lough.
a great place to get on your walking boots on walk up to the top and look down on great veiws of belfast
We live across the road from the park and regularly take the dogs into Redburn. Views from the top are fantastic especially on a clear day, definitely worth the steep climb uphill.
Redburn country park situated just outside of Holywood, Co Down.
Car parking facities are excellant at the side of the Holywood Hospice, thou leaving car for long periods of time isnt recommended at some of the other car parks.
Path ways are not sign posted so u can "lose" your way easily.
