A long bumpy ride to get there, not much in the shop and lacklustre glass blowing. I dont usually give bad reviews but I dont think this is really worth the detour unless you have a piece in mind more

We took a party of American visitors in October 2006 and found it was closed for a Private Function which was most annoying. I went last year to IOW Studio Glass, in fact I made the trip especially from Oxford just to see the team. I wasn't disappointed and could spend hours watching the experts mold the glass, fantastic. The gift shop was great with items for all and I will definately return sometime soon as it's also in such a nice location. more
We (the family) have been to the studio more than three time and we always had a pleasant and entertaining time there. The staffs took the time to speak to our young son, showing how to handle the hot glass while using the "blower" (not too sure of the term), letting him try (made his day) and helped us in... more
I will be visiting IoW Glass for the fourth time this weekend, as I could sit and watch glass blowing for hours. The finished articles can be expensive, but quality always is. Certain areas of the Studio Showroom are purely for display of the more expensive items which a lot of Collectors' travel to the Studio to view and buy. There are also plenty of reasonably priced items in the showroom which allow all members of the family to purchase things, from marbles to miniature garden's encased in crystal clear glass all...
