We took the seal safari from the beach and it was an amazing experience. I have never seen Seals for real and to see them out in the open, soaking some sun on the rocks was real fun. They are so pretty and cute creatures. The guide on the tour was also very informative and had some interesting trivia about... More

Together with my partner we took a sea cruise on 26th June 2011. The weather was delightful! It was fantastic experience and opportunity to admire fabulous Tenby beaches from the boat. We could not visit Caldey Island which is closed for visitors on Sundays. Instead we took seal safari cruise. The entire experience was breath taking! During the cruise you... More

Had a very interesting visit to caldy island resently. I could recommend this to anyone new to tenby. The trip was very pleasant and caldy itself is a very charming place. You can walk though wooded areas or walk over the headland to the lighthouse. All in all worth the money.

im not an overly religious person but found a comforting tranquility on this island. The afternoon service with the monks was soothing, indeed the whole island had that ambience. We went in September so it was quieter but i felt it would still have the same appeal if it was earlier in the year. Get the earliest boat across (... More

Caldey island has such a peaceful, spiritual and calm feeling even in August.. The return boat trip cost £11.00 for each adult. It's a 20 minute crossing. You don't pay once you are on the island. As you approach the main 'village' thare is a lovely message on a board from the Cistercian monks who live in the monestary on... More

Great trip over to the island, boats every 20 mins so no hanging around. Smooth crossing with great views. Caldey is so peaceful, we had a lovely lunch, walked to the light house and had a very pleasant few hours on the beach, which is unspoilt and would rival any beach abroad!

The boat trip to Caldey Island provides an opportunity to visit a very special island, with lovely walks upto the lighthouse and along the cliff path which provided amazing views of the cliffs below. The beach is one of the cleanest, most beautiful we have ever visited. Boat trips are every 20 minutes in the summer so you can stay... More
