My wife and I visited Silent World over 3 years ago as a couple and found it a very good experience. However my wife attended with her charge who has learning difficulties. Now bare in mind that most facilities in the area allow free entry for carers as after all without them the person in their charge could not be... More

Entrance fee was just over £5 fro an adult when we were there. Children cheaper of course. you will need to walk up a steep hill and church path to get there as it is set in a grave yard. But is an interesting half-day out.

Visited this 'attraction' on a dull saturday afternoon with two young children, both of whom were excited, wanting to see the fish etc. Well....we would have been better off taking them to see the fish counter in the local morrisons supermaket. The man on the door was rude and unhelpful to start (although he did put our folded buggy in... More
