All sorts to do for all the family. Plenty of places to sit & watch. Lots of snacks available. Easily spend all day there.
overall the pleasureland experience was fun i spent a few hours there and it has a good selection of rides and sideshow games. i visited with my sister and as we are both adults the range of rides was good although quite expensive as each token was £1 and most rides were 3 tokens, although photos from the "scarey" rides... I visited Pleasureland with my 2year old Grandson and was pleasantly surprised. Yes it was expensive with the tokens being £1 each but as an occasional treat we didn't mind. The ride operators on the 'little' rides were lovely and made sure our little man knew where we were so that he could wave to us. The majority of rides... More
A visit to Southport Pleasureland in August was a complete success for 2 mums and 4 teenage boys. The park was very well kept, with beautifully maintained grounds, and stunning flower beds everywhere. There were designated litter-pickers who seemed proud to be keeping the place so tidy and clean. The staff were friendly and fun. One exception though. The 'Fun... More
Not impressed!!! A rip off place to spend an hour or two. Very expensive short rides. Average price is £2 = 2tokens or £3 for a very young chillds ride. The bigger rides seem to be cheaper than the toddler rides. We spemt two miserable hours here on a cold Sunday afternoon...never again!! The rides last for less than 2... More
I believe the Atkinson has very recently been 'refurbished' and you can tell! So many things to look at and find out about, VERY clean and well planned. We were limited by time so only saw a small amount of what it has to offer. Certainly The Atkinson alone will see me coming back to Southport in the near future.
Had an awful afternoon at Portland hall spa and decided to walk down to the beach. Found a nice park to walk through then came to pleasureland. Never been to Southport before. Had a nice walk round and went on ghost train. Scary but funny
Daughter had a great day, cant knock it for that however the whole cash for tokens is a bit of a rip off, especially as some rides are up to 3 tokens and only last a couple of minutes if that. "It has more of a crappy fairground feeling than a theme park". If you want a great day out... More
Just got back from having day out in Southport the New Pleasureland is a great place to go very clean and tidy park not bad at price £1 a token very good for younger and older children as a good variety of rides. would recommend a visit.
Took two grandchildren aged 10 and 4, bought 40 tokens £40, they enjoyed the rides a lot. Left and had a meal outside of the fairground, after that they wanted to go back, so bought another £35 worth of tokens. The kids enjoyed the day and I thought the staff were fine they made sure they were on the rides... More
