Well the place has been built to make you feel the history of Oman. The Skelton of the whale and its surrounded hall makes it awesome. The rocks of Oman of all type you could explore as well .

It's a little old-fashioned, compared with other museums in town, but the section on Oman was fascinating. We went there after our trip upcountry and found it really rounded out what we'd seen and experienced. If you care about anything to do with the ecology of Oman, take an hour to visit these exhibits.

If you are a Tourist, its a great way to understand more about Oman and its topography and culture

Neat little museum but decor looks nearly as old as the exhibits! suggest some updating.

Small, but certainly worth a visit. It has a good amount of exhibits on the natural history of Oman, the best exhibit being the whale skeleton.

Nice stop near the old souq for max one hour. Only visit when you are nearbye. Good coffeeshop at the museum.
