Another brilliant sight to behold.You get the feeling of being in ancient Greece,with all its splendour.Take water with you if it is hot as you certainly feel the heat out in the open.

Hercules' temple still has a few columns up. Good for him, after all of these years! I can't believe that anybody managed to build these things, and it's amazing to look at something that you think is just a rock and suddenly realize that you're looking at a fallen column. The Temple of Heracles is the oldest of the temples at Agrigento and was built in the Sixth Century BC. The original plan consists of an elongated rectangular design with 38 columns.
