My wife and I travel to Italy and France regularly and we enjoy quality Tuscan Vino Nobile and Brunellos. We traveled with four of our friends from Plano Texas to Tuscant in early October 09. I visited TENUTA VALDIPIATTA with my family for my father's 60th Birthday, and what a wonderful morning we had there! We did the 'Cheese and WineTasting' tour. Sara was an excellent host, explaining passionately in perfect English all about the grapes and wine making process - she obviously loves her job and is very good at it! We wandered around... more

The wine tasting location was a little boring, the presentation of the wines was nothing special. During the tasting, the winery representative at first seemed nice but then basically wanted to rush us in and out as fast as possible. We really enjoyed the tour and tasting, with Sara as our guide. She is very knowledgeable and fun to engage in conversation. Overall it was a very good experience, especially the part at the end of the tour where we tasted some truly excellent Nobile wines. One comment: the price for the tour and wine tasting (45 Euros per person)... more

My partner and I were thrilled with our private wine tour at Tenuta Valdipiatta. Our host, Sara, provided excellent information about the facilities and production process (in flawless English!), and the wines we tasted were top-notch. The 2001 Vino Nobile is not to be missed! We would highly recommend this tour to wine enthusiasts. more

My stay at Tenuta Valdipiatta in the Apartment Tosca was such a relaxing pleasure!! When you arrive at your apartment, you are greeted with two bottles of their wonderful wine, comfortable accomodations and friendly faces. I arrived at Tenuta Valdipiatta by taxi having been in a minor rental car mishap and Mr. Caporali loaned me one of his personal vehicles... more

This year I was been In Valdipiat second time. It was even better then first time. I have taste some great wines. It is also possible to buy wines you prefer. I have meet the owner and I have to say, that he is a wonderful perosn. All the best also for Sara.I hope to see you next year! more

My wife and I, along with two other couples, recently spent two weeks (25 April to 9 May 2009) at the Valdipiatta’s ‘Butterfly’ apartment - see http://www.agriturismovaldipiatta.it/agriturismo.uk.php for the accommodation available.
