The Greek ruins at Paestum are lovely, evocative, well-preserved, and very pleasant to visit. We had seen some groups of Italian school children visiting earlier in the day but by the time we got out there (after visiting the museum) e practically had the place to ourselves. More

These temples are a rarely visited, but superb examples of classical Greek Temples. They are in amazingly well preserved condition, some with pillars and tops intact. As it is not a typical site for those visiting Italy, the crows are small and you can enjoy an unhurried visit. well worth the trip!! More
