Escorted by an expatriate whose mother tongue is English and who is married to a local Positanese, this walk ensures small groups whilst being entertained by local knowledge on what to do, places to eat, history and culture of this wonderful town. « less

A few days after arriving we did a walking tour with Christine in which she shared with us her extensive knowledge on the history of Positano. We also visited several stores selling local goods including shoes, ceramics, clothing and jewellery and learnt how each industry operates locally, but we never felt pressured to buy anything, in fact she encouraged us... We booked this walking tour of Positano before our holiday after reading the reviews on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. Christine has a vast knowledge of the history, culture and attractions. Her advice on restaurants and places of interest to visit were really helpful and meeting her family added a personal touch to the tour. The wine tasting in... More

This tour was a highlight of our recent trip to Southern Italy. Christine, a transplanted Aussie, leads a small group walk through the town of Positano. Along the way she introduces the group to local shops, restaurants, historical sites and some of the best meats and cheeses in the area. As other reviews mention, there's no pressure to shop or... We were lucky enough to get a quiet day for Christine and had the pleasure of being shown around Positano by her privately. It was great. We had already explored the town but she took us and explained the history, important facts and a bit about the religious side. Just what we needed! After taking the tour we now appreciate... More

Visited Positano in May. We were trying to get to Amalfi on the service bus. The service buses get very busy and we could only get a bus as far as Positano initially. Positano is one of the most vertical towns in europe and the view from the beach upwards is incredible. The restaurants are all tidy and inviting. The... More

This is the first time we visited Positano and am so glad we took Christine's tour on our first day there. Her enthusiasm for the place, its history, culture and heritage is infectious and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to this beautiful town!! We took her advice for places to eat and things to buy - and... More

Christine is so great - she has clearly done her research. The walking tour of Positano is a mix of history, religion, culture, cheese tasting, try some limoncello, get restaurant recommendations, all from an Aussie that has made the move to Positano. The variety was really good. And now will can walk around the town noticing things i would have... More

This was a fabulous tour. Christine is clearly good at what she does (being a lawyer by training, she put her research skills to good use.). The tour lasts about 2.5 hours and includes several stops. She stops at two of the local churches and explains their historiy and architecture, at a local ceramic shop, and 2 world-renowned clothing stores... More

We discovered this tour from reading about it her on Tripadvisor and I am so glad we decided to do the tour. Christine has so much knowledge about the history of Positano and we loved every minute of the tour through medieval Positano. The highlight for us though was certainly tasting the amazing salami, cheese and olives her husband and... More

We'd been to Positano before and fell in love with this magical seaside town. We were determined to return and learn more. Christine's tour was a great way to begin our day.
