Masses of baroque and earlier features and artefacts. Look out for the pulpit supported on baroque lions! It's a well used local church but has plenty for the tourist too. The adjoining museum is worth a visit and during the day is the main entrance - 3 euros

definitly worth paying a visit, to describe this church or relate its story would take a lot of time.

Amazing cathedral, very unusual architecture for the catholic church/cathedral. I never heard about this cathedral till I saw it, but is really gem in the Italian sightseeing. Also there is St.Andrew Apostopl's tomb. As he was fishman, cathedral has the sea theme in the interior. The exterior is so fitting to the Amalfi's views. Must say that the courtyard and... More

This Cathedral is probably one of the most amazing in all of Europe! Seriously. We mean it. No, really, it’s that good. The Cathedral has a charming little Moorish courtyard that reminded us of Morocco. Under the Cathedral is the real reason to visit – the crypt of St. Andrew. The original fisher of men (St. Andrew) is entombed here.... More
