After many years as chef/owner of a restaurant, he decided to run a cooking school from his home, enjoying the people who love food, and "eat it with the heart and not just the mouth!" You will start with a visit to the little food shops located in the historic alley of Ravello, strolling through the pedestrian road that crosses the village. Along with Vincenzino, who speaks perfect English, you will meet with the owners of the small shops and be shown how the local people choose their fish, special homemade pasta, vegetables, and local and national wines. Together, you will decide what to buy and cook for your lesson. Then it is on to Vincenzino's home, gloriously situated on a clifftop 350 meters above sea level. You will proceed with the hands-on preparation of your lunch, from the starters to the dessert, wine, water and coffee included. Weather permitting, lunch will be served on the terrace to enjoy the spectacular view of the Mediterranean. The day begins between 9-10am and ends after your meal in the afternoon. US$210. per person, minimum two people « less

We had such a great time. From choosing the fish, to creating a delisious healthy lunch and eating it on Vincenzo's stunning balcony, with a view to die for. Then an amazing walk down to Amalfi which was just fantastic. What a great day.

Cooking with Vincenzino was one of the best parts of our trip to Italy. He is such a nice person and a very passionate Chef (and Photographer). Such a great way to spend your afternoon!

We loved our cooking class with Vincenzino. The best parts were: - Good value for a private class, just my husband and myself and Vincenzino. - Hands on cooking instead of a demonstration - Warm, charming host/teacher - Ability to completely customize your meal - Stunning balcony where we enjoyed our lunch We started with a visit to the fish... My wife and I signed up for a cooking class with Vincenzino in September. We arranged it so we were the only two for the class. I highly recommend this. He was doing a class after us for 21 people! I think that would have been a totally different experience. It was really a great day (lasted about 4.5 hours).... More

We had a wonderful day in Ravello with Chef Vincenzino. Met him at the travel office in town and then walked through the city purchasing fresh items for a wonderful seafood lunch. Then on to his beautiful apartment with an exceptional view on the sea.. All together, we prepared a fresh meal of local fish, squid, and mussels. Healthy and... More

My girlfriend and I spent an afternoon with Vincenzino on what was not just a cooking class, but a journey through Southern Italian cuisine. We met Vincenzino in Ravello and after being asked 'would you like meat or fish?' headed to the fish market. Vincenzino's love and passion for cooking was evident as he explained the fundamentals of Southern Italian... More

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Chef Vincenzino. We booked the lunch cooking class in Ravello. We met Chef Vincenzino at the Wagner Travel Office and from there went to the fish market to buy local fish for our meal preparation. Chef Vincenzino pointed out only the best local fish and we ended up getting mussels,... More

Vincenzino was amazing! I would recommend him and the class to anyone visiting Ravello or the Amalfi coast. We picked our own herbs in his beautiful garden overlooking the mountains, cooked a four-course dinner (this was not a demo - we prepared the food ourselves), and then enjoyed a beautiful dinner on the patio. Vincenzo himself was terrific - he... More

My adult daughter loves to cook so we read the reviews on all of the available cooking classes in Ravello and the Amalfi Coast and selected Chef Vincenzino for her birthday. For that reason, we then centered our week long stay on the Amalfi Coast in Ravello. We are pleased with our choice. It was a highlight of our trip... More
