An interesting old fort houses this museum and art gallery, on several floors. It is cheap to enter (2 euros) but appriating the contents was not helped by there being only Italian and German text and videos. However, one can go right up and out on the top of the fort, for good views of Riva and its surroundings. OK... More

this little museo is fantastic,all the pamflets are in german english italian and so on its tells you the history of riva from the early roman day through to presant daylots of exhibits to see and for 2euros you can go up on the roof to see the wonderfull viewsif you are interested in history of a wonderull town like... More

We visited particularly to see an exhibition of photographs taken in the early 1900s which was very good.

A small but very interesting museum, full of local interest, and very well presented and laid out. The panoramic views from the roof are spectacular.

This museum was advertised as opening at 10.00am. Staff arrived to open museum at 10.30am after sitting outside having a fag and then didn't allow anyone in until 10.40am.
