Val Gardena and the SkiDolimiti SuperPass is a skiers paradise. Think Vail, mutliple by 10 (not an exaggeration) and add in great European ski villages, fantastic food on the mountains and in the villages. There are 1200km of ski trails and 450 lifts. If you want a mix challenging slopes and wide trails to practise your carving skills, this is the place to go. I have skiied all over Europe, and this is the place I go back to. No where have I found consistantly great conditions, and a wide selection of terrain. Also so large it is rarely crowded.

Brilliant and beautiful ski area for all abilities. So many ski runs - lots of blues and reds and ski park areas. Blacks for the more experienced. You have so many areas to choose from you wont get bored. Great for groups of mixed abilities and if you need ski lessons you will have the opportunity to ski different runs... More

The best situated for the ski slopes village in val gardena is Selva as you can get straight to the start of the famous sella ronda. We were staying in Santa Cristina and we needed a car or ski bus to get us on the slopes. It takes a while to get organised with the ski pass and the ski... More

We had great nine days of skiing around Sella Rounda. It is great area with loads of different kinds of slopes. Doing the Sella Rounda on orange track is best, but beware of the ques. It is best to start early. Do not miss St. Christina's skiing area and the over 10k run to Ortisei. St C has some of... More
