This church has a fascinating romanesque facade, and some great old frescoes inside. There are some helpful people on staff, too. But the best part, for us, was climbing the tower for some wonderful views of Todi and the surrounding countryside.

The hilltop walled small town of Todi, away from the crowds, has an charming atmosphere filled with busy locals. We stayed in a delightful B&B 6km away, but loved the ambiance of an evening side walk dinner and so returned later for a morning visit. It's on our list "Umbria to see"
