We explored the Mont St Michel with our sons. It was delightful. Panoramic views from every precipice. 1400 years of history accessible by strenuous climbing was exhilarating after our long drive from Paris. Loved it!
it's stunning and not to be missed - its a bit of a walk from the car park to the navette - the free shuttle - but so worth it. Better than the Pyramids of Giza or Eiffle Tower. Not to be missed
We have a 4 and 6 year old and they loved walking up to the top of the abbey to see the magnificent views, I swear you can see 1/2 of France from the top. The kids were impressed by the history and artifacts contained in the tour of the abbey.
If you take an English-speaking tour, ask for Alain. He had some great stories!
