Better visit it in the end of the day, when there are almost no people inside. Very impressive and enigmatically!

This spot is not to be missed, but be forewarned with the new parking situation you have to walk pretty far from the parking lot to the shuttle that then takes you closer, but still leaves you a fair distance from the entrance and of course the long climb up to the top. If you have any mobility issues you... More

We explored the Mont St Michel with our sons. It was delightful. Panoramic views from every precipice. 1400 years of history accessible by strenuous climbing was exhilarating after our long drive from Paris. Loved it!

it's stunning and not to be missed - its a bit of a walk from the car park to the navette - the free shuttle - but so worth it. Better than the Pyramids of Giza or Eiffle Tower. Not to be missed

We have a 4 and 6 year old and they loved walking up to the top of the abbey to see the magnificent views, I swear you can see 1/2 of France from the top. The kids were impressed by the history and artifacts contained in the tour of the abbey.

If you take an English-speaking tour, ask for Alain. He had some great stories!

You’ll park in a lot that is about a mile away from a visitors center, then from there you’ll walk again for another ½ mile to a bus. Hey, I’m all for walking, but how does this make any sense? Why does the bus not come all the way to the visitor center, or better still the parking lot, you... More

If you came with an umbrella stroller, you can easily mozy up the long twisty pathway with all the other tourists (body-to-body) because it is severely crowded and you pass by souvenir shops and ice-cream places that your children want to stop and buy. Then you need to carry that stroller up several flights of stairs (outdoors and in) but... More
