We chose the tour for 5 calanques (there are tours for 3 and for 8). The weather was perfect, the sea relatively calm, so we had a lot of fun. The views are amazing. The commentaries were in French and some English. This tour is a must if you are visiting Cassis for the first time.

Beautiful coves, and at times you can even see the seabed! Definitely worthwile. Just make sure to put on sunscreen!

I suggest renting the kayaks to explore the Calanques in a less hasty and decidedly healthier than motorboats! I also recommend a pause at Calanque d'En Vau for a nice picnic lunch. We did one of the boat tours of the Calanques in 2007. As others have mentioned, the cost depends on how many calanques you want to see. I'm not sure seeing more is necessarily worth it. The view from the sea is nice.
