The lake is small by USA standards, but beautifully situated ( reminded me of Lake Tahoe). The shops were fun, reasonably priced souvenirs and not crowded on a weekday in March. Nice lake to visit, beside beautiful view, there are some restaurants, tourist stores (with famous Kuck-kuck clocks) and we also can rent a boat in spring until autumn. All the prices in this area are not expensive. Also the stores are open in Sunday ! Don't forget to make a foto with traditional black forest costume.

I went with a family with teens. They loved the village where they enjoyed looking at the cuckoo clocks and other extraordinary creations.
