You can make very nice pictures from there. It was a bit annoying because the inside was filled with not qualitative works of the children, but it is a part of education so I shouldn't complain

The historic Watertower is open for visting and for special events like weddings.
You can get up to the top and depending on the weather you will have a nice view over the town with all the historical building and churches and you also can catch sight of the Lüneburger Heide and the Elbe River.

be prepared for the 267 steps or take the lift.if you like the senery all around luneburg,then this is a must to see.the history is very interesting and the building,the design is breathtaking and how the water was drawn from the river and pumped to the top of the tower is amazeing
