I am back home after two weeks of surfing with a smile on my face that will light up even the darkest Swedish winter. The coaching at Surf School Lanzarote is top class - the experience of this team and their willingness and ability to share their knowledge make every participant reach their potential. Add perfect location, high class boards... More

Highly recommend this brilliant holiday! Offers an all round surfing experience so as well as teaching you in the water they tutor you on the beach in lunch breaks do classroom work and have a couple of evenings watching surf movies. They are really patient and enthusiastic and once you ve been you will want to go back. I went... More

We are a family of four inexperienced surfers but had a great time with Surf School Lanzarote on Famara beach. The instructors were all very good and continually gave constructive criticism. I appreciated the regular breaks for drinks to keep hydrated and the lunch break was also very pleasant with a talk on the first day about the history of... More

Cannot fault the surf school. Encouraging, informative, enthusiastic backed with a wealth of experience both of the sport and the local area. Safety was excellent too with every instructor being a qualified surf-rescue lifeguard. Tim Jones has an amazing ability to see everything that everyone is doing all at the same time and will give tips and encouragement to everyone... More

Only one word can describe our experience at the Lanzarote Surf School: Excellent. From day 1 it is clear that the goal of this school is to teach you how to surf, and not to take your money, give you a board and send you in the ocean. The instructors/students ratio is rarely above 1 to 7-8 and this allows... More

Surf School Lanzarote proved the perfect choice for both my wife, a novice and I, an intermediate, in terms of instruction and client care. You'll be hard pushed to find an instructor as qualified as Tim Jones, his instructor team are second to none. Visit their website for the ins and outs of what they offer. It's totally comprehensive and... More

I would recommed Surf School Lanzarote in Caleta de Famara. The coaching is great, Tim, Gillian and Matt taught with a real passion for surfing and inspire you. The course is well organised and they really went the extra mile and every person in the group was taught on their individual level, be it beginner, intermediate or advanced. The self-catered... We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and can't wait to get back into the water and put into practice our skills and knowledge. The days were well structured and built up confidence and techniques to form a solid foundation for surfing. The lunchtime talks and stories were entertaining, very informative and drawn from a wealth of knowledge and expertise. The passion... More

I've just come back from my holiday in Famara and I would like to recommend the school to everybody who is serious about learning how to surf. I have been to various surf schools so far, but one normally gets little more than supervision not to get drifted away in the water. Here the trainers combine a great knowledge of... More

Took the 5-day course. Tim and his team were really great and encouraging and managed to provide personalized coaching in a group setting. Would definitely go back. Everyone is really friendly, so it's great for solo surfers as well. More
