Fantastic pools complex using water from thermal springs, Burgerbad has ten pools for every possible desire, from freezing cold to 40'C warm... 20CHF for three hours in 2008, its well worth a visit and is a suitable "rainy day" attraction if you're in the area and the weather turns. It does get busy, but have a look at the webcam... more

I just got back from a week in Switzerland, where I stayed in Kandersteg. I took the Sunnbuel lift and then hiked up to the Gemmipass where I used the Gemmibahn lift to go the town of Leukerbad where the Burgerbad Spa is located. I 100% recommend it- the ticket is only 18 francs for 3 hours and included access... more
