I'm a cat person and at home there are two spotted oci's. To come the the parc des felins and see all this cats in all sizes, shapes and colors made me happy like a kid.
The lynx lynx lynx was extremely hard to find but luckily we've rented binoculars.
I must admit that the "normal" lion, tigers, leopards etc...

We went in a heatwave in late June and were glad to be wearing light clothing, sensible shoes and especially sunhats; there is little shade and a lot of walking to be done. We also had bottles of iced water - the refreshment area is a long way from the animals and this was a godsend.

Even non-French speakers ought to be able to figure out the name of this place means The Feline Park (or Cat Park). It is a zoo - a very, very good zoo - devoted almost exclusively to wild cats. (I say almost because they recently added a lemur island for reasons that escape me).
