Lambing season with plenty to see and do. Cafe needs a bit of work on the food side. Overspill parking in field ok when dry. Stop off at the Tiger Inn, great beer and food.

We took our nephew & niece. They loved it, a real nice day out, take a picnic and just go with the flow. The staff are very informative and as long as the weathers not raining then you'll have a great time, it can be done in half a day i'd say, longer than that is pushing it a bit.

This place is fascinating in the spring time when the lambs are being born.

Very much geared to children. Mine particularly liked feeding the sheep with the bags of pellets you can buy.
