This Museum was built in a restored Textile Mill and the handwork shown varies from knitted tea cups in one show to magnificent quilts in another. The Museum was lucky to host the work of the late Juan Gueur and his scientific art installations. It's a great museum to check out on a regular basis.

The Mississippi Valley Textile Museum is located in the small historic town of Almonte and hosts many excellent exhibitions featuring arts and crafts using textiles and fibres. This year's Fibrefest was a real treat with a good collection of fibre artists displaying their work and giving us great ideas. This year it also sponsored the Button Mania exhibition with a...
